Échale Más Ambition Heart Strings Tug is a six-word memoir that captures the tension between two forces that have shaped my life. On one side, there’s the drive to push myself harder whether through my studies, career, or creating something for my family, and always striving for more. When we had to lay cement on the side of our house to help build my family's dream home my dad reminded us to put in the extra effort, not just to secure our future, but to break the cycle of struggle and achieve something greater for the next generation. On the other side, there’s a longing for deep, meaningful love, especially as a hopeless romantic who yearned for a love story, even while focused on my ambitions. Now, I’ve found that love story and have the one who fills my heart in a way I never thought possible. Balancing the two desires of building a successful future while nurturing my love has been a constant push and pull, but both have shaped me into who I am today.
