Y Mio Lady?
White Model Project
This image features a traditional Mexican jarro which is a hand-crafted clay pot. The Mexican jarro depicted has been reimagined as a unique package to hold a small, authentic Mexican cinnamon cookie. The design is deeply personal to me, drawing inspiration from my tia, who raised my sister and me while our parents were hard at work. Her playful, delightful phrase, "Y mio lady?" translating to "And where's mine, lady?" was her way of teasing us whenever we had treats, embodying her warm, loud, and always joyful personality. She’s had an incredible influence on the person I’ve become which is full of love, energy, and a little bit of craziness. The logo, which I created for this cookie, pays homage to her spirit, capturing the essence of family, joy, and the simple, delicious moments that have shaped my life through the feminine flower print and rustic thin typography.
