Product Design Process

The branded item is a thoughtfully designed tote bag, crafted with specialized pockets to make Bible study sessions at local coffee shops both practical and stylish. The text uses a vintage-inspired typeface with a modern revival flair, giving the design a sense of timelessness and energy.

Abstract shapes and linework form the geometric silhouette of a lion with a crown, symbolizing strength and faith, while the left side focuses on the inner workings of the brain, with negative space in the background illustrating the progression of the mind being activated. This visual narrative reflects the mental battles people face and highlights how worship supports resilience and clarity. On the back, a subtle hint of scripture, Psalms 33:3, encourages and uplifts, tying together purpose, reflection, and daily practice in one cohesive design.

“Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy”

Psalms 33:3

Product Design Process

The tote bag design began by creating a stencil with a laser-cut board, which was used to apply the base shapes and the lion silhouette with spray paint. Vinyl elements, additional lines, shapes, and details, were then carefully applied and heat-pressed to build the layered design. This process combined hands-on fabrication with conceptual storytelling, allowing the abstract geometric shapes and symbolic elements to come together precisely in the final tote bag.
